SmartMCs Hydrogels

Photo-crosslinkable biopolymers for 3D cell culture and bioprinting.

Smart MCs hydrogels are water-rich polymer networks that provide a three-dimensional environment for cells, mimicking aspects of the natural extracellular matrix. They're used across 3D cell culture, spheroid and organoid formation, tissue engineering, and drug screening. All six materials, GelMA, HAMA, AlgMA, SilkMA, PLMA, and PEGDA, are supplied with the same LAP (Lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylphosphinate) photoinitiator and cure under UV (365 nm) or visible light. Manufactured in an ISO 7 cleanroom but supplied non-sterile; sterilize after dissolution via 0.22 µm filtration or pasteurization. No cold-chain shipping required.
