SmartMCs GelMA (Gelatin Methacryloyl) Hydrogel

$188.00

Gelatin methacryloyl with three degrees of methacrylation. Light-triggered gelation gives you tunable stiffness and native cell-friendly attachment sites in one material.

Photo-crosslinkable methacrylated gelatin (GM-30, GM-60, GM-90) for bioprinting, encapsulation, and tunable 3D culture, supplied with LAP photoinitiator.

Product Details

SmartMC’s GelMA combines the biological properties of gelatin with the control of a crosslinkable material, supporting cell attachment, growth, and organization. Smart MCs supplies GelMA in three variants (GM-30, GM-60, GM-90), each including methacrylated gelatin and a compatible LAP photoinitiator for fast, reliable light-based crosslinking.

GM-30 (approximately 30% methacrylation) produces softer gels that are easier for cells to spread and remodel, often used for soft-tissue models. GM-60 (approximately 60%) is a balanced option with good printability and mechanical strength, suitable for most general applications. GM-90 (approximately 90%) produces stiffer gels that hold their shape well, useful for 3D structures where stability matters.

All three variants are supplied as a white, sponge-like material with a molecular weight range of 100 to 200 kDa, and are enzymatically degradable.
